The work a blank template leaves to you

A template gives you a layout. Licence Catalog reduces and watermarks your pictures, makes every image page and lays out the prices and terms you supply. It also writes the image metadata, catalogue file and sitemap.

  • A gallery home, one page per usable image and a page of creator-supplied terms.
  • Smaller PNG previews with the watermark burned into the pixels. No originals or original image metadata in the website.
  • Personal, commercial, editorial or other licence names, with your own prices, currency, terms and contact email or HTTPS payment link.
  • Google-supported ImageObject metadata on the gallery and image pages: licence and acquisition links, creator, and credit and copyright text when you supply them.
  • catalog.json, sitemap.xml, a blank or filled price sheet, UNKNOWN.csv for skipped files and incomplete options, and a hosting note.

Use your words and your prices

  1. Choose your own folder of images. Create the blank CSV sheet if you need one.
  2. Fill your title, description, price, licence terms and contact details. Repeat a filename to add another option.
  3. Build, then download a ZIP or save to an empty folder. Open index.html to check the website.
  4. Read the hosting note, set your final public address and rebuild before uploading the output folder.

Without a filled sheet, you get a preview gallery and a blank sheet to complete. The tool never invents permission or legal terms.

Try the sample

The sample website was built by this tool from invented artwork and invented terms. See its skipped-file notes and input price sheet. Tests used invented files, not customers’ collections.

Free alternatives

You can create pages by hand, resize and watermark with a free image editor such as GIMP, and add structured data yourself. Free static-site themes also provide layouts. Those approaches may be enough if you enjoy that work. This download performs the repeated preview, page and metadata steps from your folder and sheet.

Netlify offers free static hosting within plan limits. GitHub Pages offers free public portfolio hosting, but its terms restrict sites primarily conducting or directing commercial transactions. The included note explains both routes; choose hosting appropriate for your site.

Limits to know

Desktop Chrome or Edge is the supported tool runtime. Each build accepts at most 500 files, 40 MiB per image, 256 MiB total and 40 million pixels per image. Corrupt or unsupported files are skipped with notes; a build with no usable images fails clearly.

The tool supplies no legal advice, checkout, payment confirmation or original delivery. You agree terms and deliver originals yourself. A watermark cannot stop copying. It does not guarantee Google indexing, a Licensable badge or sales. The optional Node command-line helper supports non-interlaced 8-bit PNG only; the HTML tool handles JPG, PNG and WebP.
